Hyderabad the best among the Indian Cities RAGHAVA
Mercer, the world’s largest human resource consulting firm Headquarted Newyork has announced the latest survey and ranking on quality of living index in which our Hyderabad ranked 144th spot in the world.
The survey
has just deduced the fact that most Indian cities are below the international
standards in terms of quality of living at the level of people’s satisfaction. The
survey says that Indian cities are progressively doing well but when it comes
to global index it is relatively low. Though, Hydreabad ranks top in India it
slips from 139 to 144.The other Indian cities are also ranked low such as Delhi
in 161,Mumbai 154,Pune 145,Bengaluru 146,Kolkata 149.
“Mercer’s index is the most important factor helping companies to decide on compensation for expat employees, but now it has also become the biggest factor to the people across the world in choosing their place to work”. This foreign assessment will influence international trade and commerce along with Multinational companies.
According to
Navnit singh, chairman and regional managing director of the firm:”Hyderabad
isn’t the unattractive city perhaps the
best place to search employees much more likely to Chennai” The areas like
Gachibowli is really attracting the people a lot with cheap housing system,
good schools and great standard of living, moreover “Hyderabad is increasingly
becoming the safe place for women(SHE teams is really a big deal)”.When it
comes to career progressions and education standards our city is playing good,
it is yet to get a stimulus. In terms of infrastructure, Hyderabad ranked low
it is all because of drainage system, road transportation is turning bad hope
that Metro services would do better. Though, transformations are happening
Hyderabad needs the drastic change with better living standards to seek the
destiny for the global mobility.
